At the January 2026 Prayer for the Media gathering, Miggs Clark who is Head of Prayer at Premier Christian Communications, recalled a striking vision for Christian media in the UK, that she received some years ago, and we’re sure you will find this encouraging.
At that time Miggs saw a powerful arrow in flight. At its tip, the Word of God, Jesus Himself, unstoppable and true. Flowing from behind were many strands, each representing a distinct media expression, drawn together by Him into a single multi-coloured rope.
Then, while observing people interceding for Kingdom collaboration, during the January prayer meeting, Miggs was led in to recall her vision for Christian media. “Looking at the Christian media landscape of today, I see how God is still at work, drawing many strands together in a new dimension of unity where the sum is greater than the parts. This reminds me of picture God gave me of an arrow in flight.”
A vision for Christian Media
“I remember I was at Premier, I think, and I saw this picture of an arrow. It had a really large arrowhead, metallic and chunky. And it was as if I was standing behind it as it flew out in front of me, so I could see it from behind. It was flying with great velocity, absolutely unstoppable. Nothing could be an obstacle to this arrow. Straight and true it flew.
“Attached to the shaft was a white streamer, fluttering in the wind. ‘That’s Premier,’ I thought… but then came more: I saw all these coloured cables streaming out from behind the shaft, as well as the original white one. Lots of different colours. And I was looking at this rather curiously, wondering what on earth it meant.”
As Miggs watched, the arrow began to rotate, just as real arrows do in flight and something remarkable happened: “All of these cables became intertwined. And they became one thick, incredibly strong rope.”
Still flying forward with unstoppable momentum, Miggs asked God for clarification about the coloured cables:
“ ‘Lord, what is all this about, please?’
“And He said, ‘That’s all the different Christian media organisations. All they need to do is hang on and it will be well.’
Then came the heart of the vision: “I asked, ‘What’s the arrowhead?’ and He said, twice, ‘It’s the Word of God, Jesus, the Word of God.”
“The Lord has given each of us our own distinctive media expression and we are to keep to this while He wraps us together into a strong, beautiful multicoloured rope as He carries us along,” Miggs explains. “We just need to hold on tight to Jesus. If we all do that, if He is the head, not any one of us or our individual ministries, then He will do the work of building us into something strong.”
This was not a message of striving, but of abiding. Not about building empires, but holding fast to Christ.
“Together, we are cooperating, but holding on to Him. And He will provide that forward motion and that unstoppable path. So be encouraged. I believe this is what the Lord is calling us into at this time. We’ve just got to hang on tight and enjoy the ride.”
As we hold fast to Christ and remain united in purpose, God will carry us forward with momentum, clarity and strength, and we will accomplish far more together than we ever could alone.
