Entry Categories for 2005:

• Best Christian Ministry Radio Programme - Worship & ministry
• Best Christian Speech Radio Programme - Documentary/interview/discussion
• Best Christian Music Radio Programme - Music based programme
• Best Christian Factual PSB TV Programme - Documentary/factual programme including interviews, discussion
• Best Christian Factual Satellite/Cable TV Programme - Documentary/factual including interviews, discussion
• Best Christian Ministry TV Programme - Worship & ministry
• Best Christian Music TV Programme - Music based programme
• Best Christian Film - Full-length drama/feature film made for Cinema, Video/DVD or Television [Not part or episode of a TV series or mini-series]
• Best Christian Factual Video/DVD - Documentary/factual/interview
• Fred Grossmith Christian Writers Awards for the Best Christian Novel
• Fred Grossmith Christian Writers Awards for the Best Christian Non-fiction Book
• Fred Grossmith Christian Writers Awards for the Best Christian Poetry Book
• Best Christian Worship Music Album
• Best Christian Gospel Music Album

Entry fees for 2005:

All radio entries (A - C) - £30 for first entry in each category and £15 for each additional entry in the same category

All TV/Film entries (D - I) - £50 for first entry in each category and £25 for each additional entry in the same category

Book entries (J - L) - £25 for each entry

All Music Video/DVD/Album entries (M - P) - £40 for first entry and £20 for each additional entry in the same category

Best Christian Artist or Group (Q) - £35 fee from each artist or group nominated by their record label or themselves

Format of entries:

All radio entries (A - C) - CD/MiniDisc/Cassette

All TV/Film entries (D - I) - DVD (Region 2) or VHS PAL Cassette

All music entries (M - Q) - Music CD or DVD (Region 2)

Please note that category Q should provide full details of the artist’s discography and when/where they have performed live in 2004-05 plus copies of recent album/single releases.

Rules for entries:

1. All entries are judged on excellence of production and quality of Christian content.

2. All entries must have been published/released/first broadcast in the UK or Commonwealth between 1st August 2004 and 31st July 2005. All entries must also be available to buy, view or hear in the UK during this period.

3. All entries must be in the English language but may contain other languages with sub-titles or translations in English.

4. All entries must be received NOT LATER THAN 1400 hours on 31st AUGUST 2005 together with the appropriate entry forms + full payment by cheque (£) made payable to CBC.

5. Judging will take place in August and September and Award winners informed by email before 15th October 2005.

6. The Decision of the Judges is final.

Other Information:

The awards ceremony will be held at the Christian Broadcasting Council Awards Banquet to be held at the Moat House Hotel in Stoke-on-Trent starting at 7.00 pm THURSDAY 10 NOVEMBER 2005.
