The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill received its Second Reading in the Commons on Monday 12 May and goes to Committee starting 19 and 20 May 2008. At this meeting we presented three of the issues which most concern Christians and very many other people. These include the sanctity of human life, definition of family and the creation of hybrid human-animal embryos.
