This years CBC conference took place in Tonbridge, Kent and brought together Christians from accross the media industry
The Conference followed the theme "Britain on the Brink". A new Government, a new opportunity, a groundswell of public opinion desiring something new. Tired of corruption in politics, sleaze in public life and collapse in the global economy? Christian or not, there is a deep desire to bring righteousness into the nation’s life - for truth and transparency. There are giants about, and we need to go in and possess the land (Numbers 13) - battle by battle, skirmish by skirmish, line upon line, principle upon principle. Media, Law and Politics – three areas that are increasingly interlinked... as communicators and Christians in broadcasting, they are areas in which we need to engage.
