ANDREW GRAYSTONE

Andrew is the Director of the Churches Media Council, a national body that aims to build bridges between the Christian community and the media. In that role he supports Christians working in the media, and challenge the media industry to live up to its high calling.

Andrew’s a regular presenter of Radio 4’s Daily Service and Sunday Worship, worked for BBC Religion for over a decade, as a producer and as Development Executive. He has produced many TV and radio programmes including The Heaven and Earth Show for BBC1. He’s often asked to train and advise Christian groups on how best to engage with the fast-changing media environment.

Andrew is 47 and has been married for 22 years to Jane, who works with families whose children have special needs. They have two teenage children – aka PartyGirl and SkaterBoy – and provide foster care for a child with autism. He is on the Board of his “lovely funny messy multi-cultural Nazarene church” in Manchester. Andrew stood for parliament in the 2005 General Election, though can’t altogether remember why. Jonathan is the Cross Rhythms CEO and lives in Stoke-on-Trent with his wife Heather. He joined Cross Rhythms in 1992 as a volunteer and took on the CEO role in October 2005. Jonathan & Heather are a part of the Church Of The Nations family.
